Amazing Utah

I thought I'd share some of my amazing state and experiences I have living here in Utah. Yes, I love summer, but if we're going to have winters I think we should embrace it!

Last two photos are Ice fishing with my brother...I got sunburned on this day (Saturday, 17th) although it was only 20 degrees outside.

Nice! Pretty blue skies. Is that a bald eagle? Well if you got sunburned I guess you weren't too cold??!?

Love these photos -- especially the bald eagle!

What do you catch when lake is frozen over?

Do the cold temps change the behavior of the fish somehow?

We catch the trout particular to that lake. In this case, this lake has rainbow and tiger trout. A few weeks ago I caught some Kokanee (salmon). The fish are not as aggressive in the winter cold as they are in the summer. That's about the only difference.

So Lovely. I do also love that bald eagle. Must be so peaceful doing ice fishing, and got sun burned.
